[[FallenSanity proposed the challenge so he posts first. You guys know the rules, so let's rock.]] Now the fighting was getting started.
With the first duel done, the loser's limp form dragged out and the winner crowned with blood, the entire arena was encompassed in a flash of light that blinded virtually all the spectators as to what had happened. When the light finally subsided, the place looked as good as new, without a single drop of blood in the sand-covered floor. That was the cue for the announcer to spike the speakers with his voice once again.
"Aaalright, we havin' fun?!" the announcer asked, seeming to get into the attitude as the people he was supposed to entertain. The crowd, like any other, cheered as a response, prompting the man at the other end of the speakers to keep going. "Our next fight is between two of the top ten killers you could walk by the street, and never know who they were! First, standing a beastly seven-feet two-inches tall, he weighed in at two-hundred fifteen pounds, the man from a dead time, Siduuuuuuuus Regiiiiiiiiiiiiis!"
Again the crowd erupted in cheer as the Crusader made his way into the field. Even from behind the speakers, one could tell that the announcer himself had a grin the size of the Grand Canyon. Of course, professional as he was, he wasn't going to let that get in the way of his job. "His opponent from the opposite gate, standing five-feet eight-inches tall and weighing one-hundred eighty pounds, he's only known by one name, Keeeeeeeiiiith!"
And just like the first, the moment the speakers clicked into silence, the bell rung to signal the beginning.

Sidus Regis sat in the waiting room, his powerful mace balanced perfectly on his elbow. He knocked it to his opposite shoulder, and grabbed it quickly. Sidus stood up, scratching his head. "This wolf may prove to be a challenge if he avoids the transformation. I will not kill an innocent human." Sidus looked out the gate as he heard the announcer speak. "Our next fight is between two of the top ten killers you could walk by the street, and never know who they were! First, standing a beastly seven-feet two-inches tall, he weighed in at two-hundred fifteen pounds, the man from a dead time, Siduuuuuuuus Regiiiiiiiiiiiiis!" Sidus looked neutral as the gate opened, and the roar of the crowd greeted him. He walked out into the lights of the stadium, and after standing in the middle of the arena for a few moments, he walked to the north side, holding the mace loosely in his hand. The Templar examined the stone wall behind him, and the crowd of people around him. Why do they cheer, when they do not know what or who I am? They know not wether I am a soldier of divine justice or a beastly murderer of children and women. Sidus held the hand of his sword in his left hand, tightening the grip. He would save it for the final kill, to free the tormented soul from an endless torture.
For this was his duty, as the Templar Champion.

Keith was inside the arena shortly after he heard his name announced. These people are pathetic, but I do wonder what they'll think of me when I show them what I really am. The cheers and jeers of the crowd when they finally got a look at him, were hardly surprising. This opponent of mine outweighs me quite a bit, probably well trained in the usage of his weapons, not only that, but he seems to see me for what I truly am. Thus far Keith was just a shadowed silhouette in the darkness. When he walked out into the light he drew his blade. Nothing special, just a mass produced longsword that has been well used. At the sound of the crowd cheering louder he looked at his arms. All of this anticipation, wait no, not anticipation, all of this excitement was causing the beast within to stir, such a worthy opponent was standing before him. "No!" he half yelled, half snarled as his snout began to elongate and hair began to sprout over his body. This is my fight, not yours! His snout returned to normal and the hair thinned out to nothing once more after a few pained grunts.

Sidus watched the man walk into the field of battle, a look of lust for battle covering his face. Sidus weighed the mace carefully, pinpointing the spot that would do the most damage to the skull of a wolf. His eyes darted back to the werewolf, as the body started to configure itself to match that of the deadly beast inside. He is holding it in. This could be a problem. Sidus grabbed the mace with his right hand near the club end, leaving the shaft as the least mobile part. He was going to have to defend for a while it seemed if he wished to win this fight. Sidus stepped forward, and leapt at the beast. "Begone, heathen!" The head of the mace butted at the mans face, as a more concussive shot than a killing blow. I need to watch myself. If I am to win this conflict, I will need him to show his true self. And fast. His blade could cut through me like butter.

The mace impacted with Keith's skull, knocking him back. He dropped his blade and reached up to feel the wound. He touched it and felt warmth. He looked at his palm and it had a small pool of dark blood on it. He looked at the man who caused this injury and back at the blood several times. The beast was stirring more violently now, Keith's fingers started growing claws and his canines grew larger, but not fully transforming. In a swift fluid movement Keith picked his blade up and made a swift slashing motion towards the mans chest, more as a motion to get him to back off, rather than an attempt to hit.

Sidus watched the man stumble back, dropping the long blade in the sandy rock floor. The man clutched at the wound, as it seeped blood. Sidus could see, no, feel the demon inside the man trying to free itself and unload on him. But the man knew. He knew if he was to allow this beasts fearful glory, Sidus would destroy him where he stood. Sidus didn't want to hurt the man to much, but he had too to win this fight. Sidus advanced, but not before a blade instantly slashed at his chest, cutting through the cloth robe and tearing at his skin tissue and muscle mass. Sidus doubled back, looking at the wolf man in shock. What a speedy recovery, although I am not surprised. Werewolves are known for this kind of trait. Sidus pulled out a bandage, and swiftly covered the wound with it, putting pressure on to avoid blood loss. The Templar looked over at the wolf again, and held his mace high, blocking any more slashes. "Come now, young'en. Thou doth wish to deplete mine life, here on field of blood and stone? Whence not unleash thy deadliest of beasts, and so as to strike me down? Art thou afraid of thy doom?" He spoke in the old language, as to see if it would persuade this demon of a bygone era to reveal itself to him. He highly doubted it.

Keith felt the beast within get more and more angered, he felt the rage building, but most of all, he remembered his family, that morning he awoke with blood all over his body, seeing his mother, father, and sister lay lifeless in pools of dark blood. This beast will not control me! Keith thrust his blade into the ground and stared at his opponent. Slowly his canines returned to normal and his claws retracted. "The time for talking is over" Keith felt the rage drawing himself in, he knew better than to drown himself into the rage. He let break the dam of rage and felt the transformation overtake him. His snout elongated and his teeth sharpened. His muscle mass grew expenentially. Claws burst forth from his fingers and toes. His clothes ripped open and fell to the ground. Finally hair covered his body. He reared his head back and let forth a piercing howl. The crowd went wild seeing this beast let go.

Sidus watched the monster reveal itself to the people of the Arena, the painful transformation not changing the people mood. Sidus smiled, something he hadn't done in a while. Foolish man. I shall free him from this demon. Sidus put the mace on a strap on his belt, and drew his long blade. The gold sheen aimed perfectly at the wolves eyes. "Demon from the pits of pain and sorrow, prepare to feel yourself freed from the binds of this world." Sidus held back, ready to counter anything he could. He started to tap into the small portion of his mind, ready to slow it all down as soon as he could. He would free this man, if it was the 'last' thing he did.

(OOC: Stitches are annoying)
Keith now saw everything through the eyes of a beast. He felt much stronger than before, and knew he would need to finish this quickly, for the Crusader was planning something. Keith noted that unlike others in this arena, the Crusader hadnt displayed a power yet, he would be cautious. Keith cautiously circled his foe, making sure to keep out of range of the newly unsheathed blade his opponent was wielding.

Sidus watched the wolf as he circled the Crusader. Strange... Perhaps the beast holds in its insanity when in conflict... Sidus stepped forward, still holding his guard up carefully, awaiting the opponent to make a fateful strike. "Come now, dark beast. Why not attack? Do you believe I, a weak human, would be able to stand up against you, a deadly and strong wolf beast of a land forgotten?" Sidus would try to bide his time, until he could find a deadly spot to strike his foe down. The crowd started to boo them, as the two simply circled.

Keith snorted and continued to circle him looking for any weakness he could exploit. "Have you not encountered a beast of my calibur before?" he said with contempt clear in his now scraggly voice. The crowd's boos grew louder, but Keith ignored them, waiting to see the response of the man.

Sidus realized just where to swipe, wether he made the first move or not. The monster was immune to any type of blade, be it rusted and weak or steel and sharp. But his blade was not normal. It is said to be made by the hands of angles, and cursed by Satan upon its captivity. It has seen death and life, it has seen happiness and sorrow. It is the Eternus Palma. Sidus deeply activated it, and so slowed down the time of existence. As the world around him moved at an eighth of its original speed, Sidus ran at only half his full speed, his blade ready to slice at the beasts gut. "I am deadly and strong, unknown to those who are dark rulers of death! You shall die, and your blood will paint the walls of this colosseum!"
